Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a School Psychologist for a position in the Puyallup, WA area. This role will involve providing essential psychological support to students within a school environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and parents
Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties
Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student concerns and develop appropriate interventions
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives to promote a positive school climate
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Washington
Previous experience working as a School Psychologist preferred
Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
