As an Assistant Transportation Supervisor you will oversee the maintenance of company vehicles while also effectively training our delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries are made to our retail and professional customers.
What you will do in this position:
Suggest and implement routing so store deliveries are made in a timely manner Hire qualified drivers and create schedules for optimum departmental performance Maintain all company vehicles to company standards and service schedules Be available to department team members 24 hours a day Ensure all department paperwork is complete and submitted to corporate teams on a daily basis Required
Qualifications:
Ability to work closely and effectively with others in a team environment Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills Ability to work flexible hours Ability to match numerical values quickly and accurately Qualifications we would like to see:
Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement Mechanical ability and knowledge of regulations Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a drug test and/or MVR check, as applicable for the role.
