The Housekeeping Manager directs operations of the housekeeping department, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and ensuring quality service to achieve overall guest satisfaction and maintenance of hotel assets.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of:
Housekeeping standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Skills and Ability to:
Determine supply and demand.
Analyze activities and information to arrive at logical conclusions.
Meet quality standards for service.
Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing to convey information effectively.
Adapt to constantly changing situations and personalities ensuring quality service to all guests.
Maintain decorum in stressful situations.
Work varying schedules to reflect business needs of the hotel, including evenings, weekends and holidays and maintain availability via cell phone.
Establish and maintain effective professional, courteous, constructive relationships with guests, staff and management team.
Successfully hire, train and motivate staff.
Limited travel may be required.
Education and
Experience:
Four years progressively responsible experience in housekeeping supervisory/management experience required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
