Inside Salesperson
This person is responsible for selling portable sanitation needs in support of the outside sales people for all of Western Washington. Contact potential customers at the earliest possible time after new projects are known. Make certain that our customers have all their needs met. Coordinate with dispatch to communicate our customer's requirements. Maintain one Act database for our customers. Develop rapport with new customers and cause HB to become the supplier of choice. Do follow up calls on existing customers. Input orders to the Avista system.
DUTIES:
Generate new business from various sources including the internet and chambers of commerce. Maintain contact with existing customers. Also coordinate the individual contact of other key HB people as needed by many other people including the Site Coach.
Arrange site visits as needed to determine customer needs or close sales.
Input quotes, service tickets orders and pick-ups into Avista and forward hard copies to the appropriate site.
Attend associations, functions and meetings that will be beneficial to sales.
Attend sales meetings.
Know territory pricing and discounts allowable.
Pursue seasonal and annual segments of the business which include municipal contracts, along with construction.
Assist with obtaining information, Via Websites etc.
Process quotes and letters of proposal for customers.
Communicate with operation all customer needs and requests.
Provide customers with quotes, flyers, brochures and literature as needed.
Follow up on all quotes in a timely matter.
Help develop fliers and brochures as needed.
Telemarketing duties to include:
Monitoring building permits
Thank you notes
Calling Top 100 customers once a month (not called by salespeople)
Qualifications:
Phone sales or customer service experience.
Computer experience including working with Act, Word, Excel and Windows
Typing and data input
Strong communication skills.
Organized and efficient
